For me, the most exciting thing about Laver Cup is always the team spirit, because it's very rare that I get to play team competitions in tennis.

Novak, when he loses, he's never the same after. So he's different. It's just a different mentality. That's why he has 23 Grand Slams, whatever, Masters 1000s, weeks at No. 1.

I didn't have a lot of arms, weapons, to win when we were really young, like 9, 10 years. I didn't have any weapons to win the match sometimes. I was always on practice trying to play aggressive, maybe going to the net and stuff like this.

I love a New York crowd.

I want to win the U.S. Open. I don't care if it's in the final against a qualifier or against Novak. I just want to win this tournament.

I just try to win. That's the most important.

You just need to stay consistent and bring out your best every match.

I'm feeling I can do big things. But I know for this I need to continue playing good.

It's not easy with tennis, because if you want to see your daughter a lot, then your wife has to sacrifice a lot. She has to travel with the baby, and many times it's her taking the plane and not me.

It's a big responsibility for sure, to be a father.

My tactic is to make my opponent suffer.

We grew up together, in a way. Me in terms of rankings and Tecnifibre in terms of a company. I only wish growth for both of us.

I know how to play on clay with confidence if I'm in good shape, and in a good mood and have energy. That's the most important.
