Here in Pennsylvania, we have it all - from top tier sports and events, award-winning restaurants, incredible hikes and state parks, and the most important historic sites in the country that tell the story of our shared history.

We need to respect all paths to success, and invest in them.

Pennsylvania is the birthplace of the nation, where the first words of the Declaration of Independence were drafted, where our Constitution was framed, where soldiers in Gettysburg gave their last full measure of devotion for the cause of freedom.

Really taking advantage of our universities to be able to become centers of innovation. Making sure we deal with some of the systemic inequities in our education and health care system here in Pennsylvania. Those are the issues that I'm focused on, and those are the issues that I know are important to the good people of Pennsylvania.

The Clean Air Act gives states the right to impose limits on automobile emissions if the federal government isn't doing its job and protecting residents from pollution.

We value real freedom here in Pennsylvania - and no matter what you look like, where you come from, who you pray to, or who you love, you should be able to express who you are and be free from harassment and discrimination.

Soon after I took office as governor, I brought together a working group of leaders from the energy industry, organized labor, environmental groups and consumer advocates to come up with a plan to protect Pennsylvania's position as an energy leader and develop a strategy for the future.

A minor conviction from years ago shouldn't prevent someone from getting a job or renting an apartment - especially if that person has received a pardon. And when someone gets a second chance, that should be a real opportunity to start over and succeed.
