I was a very confident kid.

All That' doesn't get talked about enough. I really thought it was cool that it was this kids' 'SNL.'

I loved 'Martin.' I loved 'Even Stevens' and 'All That.'

Some of my favorite series from the past - like those by Norman Lear - are able to show care and comedy in the same breath; one doesn't negate the other.

I really just believe in good storytelling, and we shouldn't have to sacrifice that just because we're a comedy.

I think working at BuzzFeed Video specifically kind of taught me about, like, the science of relatability, where - you know, those BuzzFeed videos, that era, that time and those videos all had a - there was a format to it.

I never actually was on YouTube. I never actually made a YouTube video.

My favorite part of school was always my art classes.

I come from a production assistant background. That was my first role on a set before even being an actor, that and writing.

So many people are doing incredible things on TikTok, like Tabitha Brown. But I've had my fill of creating content for the Internet with the intention of making something that people would enjoy and that would go viral.

I can feel a chord that's connected to everybody else, where I can feel what people would like to see right now or what would make people feel better. I think that's why 'Abbott' hits the way that it does.

I don't think I have anything to prove, per se, but I would like to make more things, whether it be TV or film or books or whatever.

I think you learn a lot by having a show that's a success: what it takes to maintain it, and what kind of creator you actually are, and what kind of boss or manager or showrunner you want to be. And you learn a lot about integrity, keeping things moving.

I love the airport because you are forced to, if not interact, at least share shoulders with all types of people.

I don't like the individualism of being on stage by myself, so I made the executive decision to let that go and focus on 'Abbott,' which I do consider a big team sport.

I really love Glossier in general. It's perfect for someone like me who's not really a big makeup wearer when I'm not on set or doing press, but in my day to day, Glossier is a line I really enjoy because it's simple. But it has a little bit of pizazz to it.

I love rock climbing because it's active. It's fun, but you're working out your back and stuff, and your arms.

I'm a dancer, I've been trained in dance all my life.

I believe firmly that people can come back to each other. I think the 20s are a messy time. I myself dated someone at 21 and then again at 23.

In January 2013, I moved out to L.A. I got a job at the Apple Store to pay the bills, and every now and then, I would get a little side job as a styling assistant for Elle or Details. I spent the rest of my time taking classes at The Second City and performing with them.
